Attend a highly interactive, ONLINE - LIVE Critical Care Continuing Education Program

This class in an interactive, case-study based program that reinforces learned critical care content with leading evidence based medicine and peer-reviewed research. We utilize interactive online sessions, breakout groups, interactive polls and student/instructor collaboration.

Dates: Class is held online-LIVE the 2nd Monday each month

Times: 1800-2200 EDT

Critical Care CE certificates: These are awarded quarterly and can be applied to your FP-C recertification as well as your CCP-C recertification requirements.

Topics: Through the latest evidence based medicine studies and protocol recommendations we will discuss all the topics covered in the Critical Care Paramedic Program; the course information will be in depth, challenging, and fun. For your reference, here is a list of topics (however additional topics can be added to enhance your learning).

  • Safety/Crew Resource Management / Burns / Advanced Trauma  

  • High Risk Obstetrics / Advanced Neonatal Management / Pediatrics

  • Diagnosis and Treatment based on Lab Values / Advanced hemodynamics

  • Flight Physiology / Advanced Airway Management / Respiratory Emergencies

  • Medical Emergencies / Advanced Ventilator Management / Ultrasound, CXR, CT

  • Aircraft Fundamentals / Neurological Emergencies / Ocular Ultrasound for ICP

  • Cardiac Including EKG / Ventricular Assist Devices / Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump  

Subscription option: Monthly payment $40 — Sign up to be a part of the online-live continuing education program, and pay a monthly fee for our bleeding edge continuing education program. Subscription cost is $40 per month, or you can pay a one time up front cost of $960.00 which is valid for up to 100 CE hours over the course of 3 years. If you pay the one-time fee you are buying 25 (4 hour sessions) that you can spread throughout the three year period your session is valid. For example you can attend one month, then take a 2 month break, and then attend 5 in a row etc. Once you reach a total of 25 course days attended your subscription would expire and you would be welcome to renew as either a monthly or a one time customer again. If you attend less than 25 sessions, but the three years from the date of purchase has passed, then your subscription is no longer valid and you would need to renew to attend the next CCCE course day. We do not hold the CCCE course in December. You are welcome to do the course at your own pace as well with the monthly fee.

The course is accredited through the VAOEMS and can be applied to recertify your VA and National Registry Paramedic Certification. Additionally, hours can be applied to re-certify your BCCTPC Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C) or Critical Care Paramedic Certification (CCP-C). You can also use the hours towards your UMBC CCEMT-P or PNCCT re-certifications For each course you attend you will receive a CE certificate with the content covered.
