Morning session will include: 

 Anatomy & Physiology review 

 Tips & Techniques for airway management of trauma & medical patients 

 Rapid Sequence Induction intubation, Resucitation prior to Intubation

 Case scenarios 

Morning and Afternoon sessions will be spent in the cadaver lab: 

 Hands on application including all advanced airway skills 

 Video laryngoscope utilization 

 Needle and surgical cricothyrotomy 

 Needle thoracostomy decompression, Chest Tube Insertion

 Pericariocentesis and Central Line Placement 

 RSI scenarios 

 SALAD techniques

 Intubation techniques for difficult to access patients  

 Complex management of medical and trauma patients requiring airway and ventilatory support.

Upon completion of the airway skills, instructors and participants will dissect the thoracic cavity, allowing hands on exposure with relevant discussion of anatomy and physiology of the heart, lungs, and major vessels. Don’t miss this amazing educational opportunity!!
