POTENTIAL PERFORMANCE LIABILITIES:
The Adobe Connect platform when accessed behind a software and/or hardware firewall such as those common in a corporate, government, agency or department environment could block and/or degrade network connectivity resulting in an impossible or diminished user experience.
The utilization of a VPN (Virtual Private Network) during virtual and/or live sessions may increase network latency (delay) with the potential to cause delays in audio and/or video.
While some Satellite, Microwave, DSL, and Wireless Canopy ISP’s (Internet Service Providers) advertise and provide broadband products, these services often trade convenience and accessibility for high-latency or bandwidth limitations.
Network Congestion is the most common source of a slow connection and may diminish user experience depending on severity and duration.
The use of an antiquated router or legacy hardware may degrade the user experience.
MINIMUM CONNECTION SPEED:
Bandwidth: 512 Kbps for participants, meeting attendees, and end users of Adobe Connect applications.
